Hi!

Cohen's new word of the week: HI!

Cohen ate dog food...gross!

So, it has been hard but we have been successful at keeping Cohen from eating dog food for the past 9 months...we tell him no (which means yes to him) and say icky when he tries to eat it....but he still is so curious and wants to put it in his mouth. He now understand that we feed the dogs in the morning and at night and he likes to help. Well, when we finished today....he hide some in his hands and put it in his mouth when I was not watching. I did not notice until it was too late and he had already chewed it up....gross. What is funny is that he did not seem to mind it. He is definitely ALL BOY!

Light, Light, Light

I would have to say one of Cohen's first real words was "light"....which is funny because Ed is an electrician. Cohen is definitely not an energy efficient baby because each morning when we get downstairs, he goes to each light switch and says "light, light, light" and he is not happy until all the lights are turned on...it so cute!!

Sledding

Cohen also received a sled for Christmas so we have been trying to get outside and enjoy some of the snow that we have been blessed with. Enjoy the video and pictures of Ed and Cohen sledding.

Thompson Christmas Time

Cohen loved Christmas time. He tried to take off all the ornaments on all three of our Christmas trees, loved wrapping paper and bows, and most of all was happy to see everyone at our house. Click here for all the pictures from the Thompson Christmas.

Santa stops by the neighborhood

Okay, so Cohen must have been really good this year...because Santa brought an antique Harry The Horse, a firetruck, an Elmo laptop....and lots of other goodies. And then Santa stopped by our cul-de-sac Christmas afternoon.

Cohen gets tubes.

On Wednesday, December 9 Cohen had tubes put in his ears and his adenoids removed. After about 6 weeks of constant ear infections and lots of yellow snot....we decided to take him to an ENT and get the job done. Since the surgery, which was done on the day of the blizzard and took less than 30 minutes, Cohen is a different kid. The doctor said that before the surgery it probably sounded like he was under water all the time. And since the surgery....we have been ear infection free....yeah! Below is a picture of Ed trying to keep Cohen entertained before he went in for surgery.
